2010-2011 Nationals

The R.L. Turner/METSA RC Lions performed incredibly on May of 2012 at the National FastTrack RC competition in Concord, NC. The team placed in 7 out of 8 competitions and took home the most trophies and certificates for the day. The team was also rewarded with a $300 HPI Racing Blitz race car for their creative engineering competition and over $1400 in cash winnings for next year.

The team placed in the following categories:
Creative Engineering - 1st Place
Alternative Energy - 1st Place
Visual Design - 3rd Place
Points Race - 1st Place
Finals Overall - 1st Place
Aerodynamics Race - 1st Place
Team Presentations - 2nd Place
